We spent the morning at Clinton Dewitt Playground so everyone could get their wiggles out. (Gil gets a little cranky if he doesn't get a chance to run around in the morning.)
Charlie LOVES having cousins in town!
After everyone who wanted a nap had a nap, we took the train to Brooklyn. We found a great restaurant for Marin's birthday dinner called Bubby's: Great views, a playground outside, and completely child-friendly. Marin had fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, asparagus, and a chocolate shake. This has been her birthday dinner stand-by for about, oh, twenty-eight years or so.

Wow What a post! I have so many good things to say about this one!! First,I am glad that you learned by now how it helps to get Gil running around the park in the mornings.
B, Your niece totally looks like Lisa.
Third, I hope you have a crush on Gil!!
C, Charlie looks a little beat up in the last picture. Is that how you got him to behave?
And Last...I like in the picture by the bridge with everyone you caught Gil and your niece having a moment. Priceless. I don't know if she is ready to bolt or if she is going to give him a piece of her mind. Told ya it was a lot!
Oh, looks like it was a perfectly happy birth-day!
