It was so cool to see both of our families together since they rarely meet. Patrick won the hearts of Gavin and Pierce forever with his Transformer skills.
While Charlie ran around outside with his cousins, he rediscovered Grandma B's garden rocks. He sort of looks like he vaguely remembers how obsessed he was with these rocks when Grandma B would babysit him last summer. This is the same expression Marin has when she runs into people she vaguely recognizes.
Hailey brought her puppy for a few minutes. Charlie loved it like crazy. Luckily, Marin was able to stop him from harassing it beyond pulling its ears. Also luckily, it was an extremely sweet-natured puppy.
Sunday late afternoon after a huge fried chicken buffet dinner--you can't exactly blame him.
Charlie and Lisa have become such fantastic friends on this trip. It was so fun to see them together.
We ended the party with a mini piano jam session between Marin and Grandma B. Marin should have foreseen this and practiced her boogie improv a little more, but whatever.
