On Monday at a routine ultrasound appointment, we learned that the twins had died at 16 weeks gestation. Marin was admitted to the hospital where labor was induced, and she delivered the babies late that evening. They were identical boys, and they most likely died due to complications with their shared placenta (Twin-Twin Transfusion Syndrome).
This was, of course, a devastating experience for us.
Marin's physical recovery is going quickly, and we have appreciated the enormous support we've received from friends and family.
