Saturday with Pop'!

Papa and I go out every Saturday morning. This morning we went to a restaurant called "Good Enough to Eat," which is one of the most popular restaurants on the upper west side of Manhattan.

There is always a huge line, but Dad and I got there early.

The service started out slow, so I started banging my spoon on the table until the waiter came and served me.

"Dad, can't we get a little service here?!!!"

"Jeeves, come here! Over here, yeah, this way. I want some food!"
"Dad, he's coming. Tell him I want the Irish Oatmeal, heavy on the brown sugar, with the fresh baked cinnamon toast swirled into it. How about Strawberry butter with the toast?"
"Alright, thats what I'm talking about!" "What did you order, Pop?"

"Wow, Blueberry pancakes? I'll make you give me some because they are in season right now."

After the diner, we went to get me some new shoes (after all, I'm almost standing on my own."

Harry's Children's shoes had a 50% off sale today.

So the nice man took my shoe size, and made me try on shoes for an entire hour.
Then he gave me a balloon. Dad bought two pair of shoes. Mom says that Dad is like that. If they are 50% off, then of course Dad will buy two of them because Mom says Dad likes to pay full price for stuff.

And here are my new shoes.
