The Bradshaw Family's Adventures in New York

The Bradshaw Family’s Adventures in New York

May 22, 2007

Charlie and Gil both worked hard to pack up the Provo house and make the move to New York. They deserved their nice long nap together. The big blue chair was the last piece of furniture to go, of course.

We live in a great location: Right between Times Square and the Hudson River. There is a dog-walking park on the pier near our house where Gil and Charlie like to watch the dogs.

The stroller is Charlie’s new primary method of transportation. No more car seat. This seems to be ok with him.

Once Charlie had his upper and lower teeth, we decided his was ready for his first New York deli sandwich: A half pound of corn beef and a half pound of pastrami on rye with a side of cole slaw. OK, Gil and Marin and a take-home box helped a little…

Charlie has enjoyed several trips to Central Park. Gil and Marin get a workout every time they go. Here, Gil checks his pedometer, which counts his steps every day. He’s been walking four and five times as much as he did in Utah. Our favorite place in Central Park so far is the baseball diamonds, but we keep getting lost every time we look for the zoo, so that favorite may change.

Gil started his new job.

Gil has a really great view of the Empire State Building (its the one in the middle).
